Environmental Sustainability is very dear to our hearts. We have tried to create a back to nature experience supplying a luxury glamping holiday/break with a low carbon footprint at the same time ensuring you have a enjoyable experience and make lasting memories.

Saving energy.

L.E.D Lights, solar, compost toilets reducing water, firepits, wood burner in Avalon. All our wood is sourced from our own woodland from fallen down trees the year before. 

Recycling

We ask our guests to use recycling bins provided for glass/tin/plastic/cardboard and compostable.

At Plum Tree Glamping environmental sustainability is not just a policy—it is a core value that shapes every guest experience. Set within seven acres of ancient orchards and woodland in the Vale of Evesham, we are dedicated to providing a luxury "back-to-nature" escape with the lowest possible carbon footprint. Our commitment to the land earned us the Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year award at the 2025 Worcestershire Tourism Awards.

Our Eco-Initiatives 

• Preserving Our Orchard & Woodland: We maintain 7 acres of diverse habitat for local flora and fauna. By limiting our site to just four accommodation units—the Egg Plum and greengage Bell Tents, the Imperial Yurt, and the Avalon Railway Wagon. we ensure our guests enjoy a secluded experience that respects the natural environment.
• Renewable Energy & Efficiency: We utilize solar power for lighting and phone charging across our units. To further reduce energy consumption, we use high-efficiency LED lighting throughout the site.
• Water Conservation: Every unit is equipped with its own private, modern compost toilet and gas-powered shower, significantly reducing water waste compared to traditional plumbing systems.
• Sustainable Heating: Our wood-burning stoves and firepits use timber exclusively sourced from fallen trees within our own woodland from the previous year, creating a closed-loop system for our fuel.
• Waste Management: We provide dedicated recycling facilities for glass, tin, plastic, and cardboard, and we encourage guests to use our composting bins for food waste.
• Supporting Local: To reduce transport emissions and support our community, we prioritize local suppliers and retailers, providing guests with a curated list of nearby attractions and ethical businesses.

Coming Soon Building on our 2026 goal, we are continuing to develop our Woodland Nature Walk for 2027 to help guests further engage with and learn about the unique wildlife that calls our orchard home.
